Dan Kaminsky, Technical Advisor
Best known for uncovering critical weaknesses in the Domain Name System and MD5 checksum algorithm, Dan Kaminsky is currently the Director of Penetration Testing for IOActive, a leading provider of network and computer security services for enterprises worldwide. Previously with Cisco and Avaya, Dan has been operating professionally in the security space since 1999. He is best known for his "Black Ops" series of talks at the well respected Black Hat Briefings conferences. He is also the only speaker who has attended and spoken at every single of Microsoft's exclusive "Blue Hat" internal training event. Dan focuses on design level fault analysis, particularly against massive-scale network applications. Dan regularly collects detailed data on the health of the worldwide Internet, and recently used this data to detect the worldwide proliferation of a major rootkit. Dan is one of the few individuals in the world to combine both technical expertise with executive level consulting skills and prowess.
Justin Mason, Technical Advisor
Justin Mason was the original author of SpamAssassin, the market-leading open-source spam filter product, used by an estimated 100 million users world-wide. He is presently Chairman of the Apache SpamAssassin Project Management Committee, and vice-president of the Apache Software Foundation. Justin was a co-founder of Deersoft, the first company to produce an enterprise product based on the SpamAssassin code base. Deersoft was later acquired by McAfee.
John Graham-Cumming, Technical Advisor
John Graham-Cumming is Co-Founder at Electric Cloud, Inc. Prior to joining Electric Cloud, John was a Venture Consultant with Accel Partners, VP of Internet Technology at Interwoven, Inc. (IWOV), VP of Engineering at Scriptics Corporation (acquired by Interwoven), and Chief Architect at Optimal Networks, Inc. John holds BA and MA degrees in Mathematics and Computation and a Doctorate in Computer Security from Oxford University. John is the creator of the highly acclaimed open source POPFile project. He also holds two patents in network analysis and has others pending.
Suresh Ramasubramanian, Technical Advisor
Suresh manages anti-spam operations at Outblaze Limited, a provider of email and spam filtering services to over 40 million users worldwide. He is also coordinator of APCAUCE, the Asia Pacific Coalition Against Unsolicited Commercial Email. Suresh is widely quoted in the press as an expert on email security.
