Our ultra scalable email delivery system processes hundreds of millions of email messages each day for major corporations worldwide and is helping to put to rest the "botnet" problem that is currently the number one issue facing IT managers.
Reports to:
- Director of Development
Primary responsibilities:
- Collaborate with others to write software requirements. Participate in the review and approval of requirements.
- Write reliable, high performance code in a variety of languages (Perl, Java, and C primarily).
- Write more tests than code and enjoy it.
Requirements:
- Previous experience delivering a significant software development project during the interview we will ask you to talk about it.
- Significant experience working with Internet technologies and protocols.
- Real "engineering" experience not just coding. Do you know how to design things rather than just hack them together?
- Passion for quality. Doing it right the first time. Never cutting corners. This is a senior role we need someone who can stand up for doing things right.
- 5+ years experience in a directly relevant role.
Education:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Technical Diploma from a Reputable College
